☾ Yin Aspect: Blind following leads to loss of one’s own direction; drifting with the tide will end in disorientation. Following without discerning good from evil, one may be led astray by petty people and sink into the mire. Those without independent judgment can hardly achieve great things.
Hexagram 28: Da Guo (Great Exceeding / Marsh over Wind)

☀ Yang Aspect: The marsh submerges wood—yang energy is overly abundant, and extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. Though the ridgepole bears heavy weight, those who stand independent without fear and dare to take responsibility can accomplish great feats: act extraordinarily in extraordinary times.
☾ Yin Aspect: Overburdening will cause the ridgepole to snap. Excessive yang firmness without softness harms both body and mind; arbitrary dictation leaves one without support. Going too far is as bad as not going far enough—exhaustion leads to collapse.
